SHOAL CREEK CANOE RUN was established in 1997. We rent canoes and kayaks for individuals and groups along the beautiful Shoal Creek in Iron City, Tennessee.

Enjoy spectacular scenery while floating along the creek. Bring your cooler and pull over on a sandbar for a picnic. Take a dip in the clear water. Grab a pole and catch some fish such as small- and large-mouth bass, black perch, and catfish (just to name a few). If you forget the necessities, don't worry. We offer a variety of snacks, drinks, ice, sunglasses, suntan lotion, etc. For the fisherman, we carry bait and tackle. There are a few minor rapids on the upper run, but overall, the creek is Class 1. So, bring the kids and the pets-it's the perfect outdoor family activity!
